JU88000 Engineers

Haitian has taken on an unprecedented challenge with the development and construction of this machine and has mastered it with combined forces. Even during the design phase, the European team, led by Philippe Porret, Technical Director at Haitian International Germany, managed to exceed customer requirements. Among other things, they were able to significantly minimize the footprint and optimize the injection rate, enabling the machine’s performance to reach top international standards.

After extensive testing, the JU88000 received CE certification in September 2023. The commitment of the entire Haitian team to research, detail work and quality improvement played a crucial role in this significant push into new dimensions.

Eric Chanal, the owner of Belli, personally traveled to Ningbo to inspect the machine and approve it during a formal acceptance ceremony. He was visibly impressed by his new giant: “Right from the start, Haitian was able to realize all my projects as I had expected. Nevertheless, one of my dreams has come true. Haitian really made it possible, and when I see Jupiter in front of me now, I still can’t believe it.”

The compact two-platen technology of the Haitian Jupiter series, with clamping forces between 4,500 kN and 88,000 kN, has firmly established itself in the market. Haitian International Germany already has more than 350 two-platen machines in the field in Germany alone and more than 1200 in Europe. More than 100 of these are in the range greater than 10,000 kN.

The main areas of application are the automotive industry, logistics, the commodity sector and the construction industry. In line with the product strategy “Technology to the Point”, the Jupiter series scores not only with the general advantages of the two-platen technology, but also with a tailor-made servo-hydraulic system developed in-house for high performance, high precision and low energy consumption.

Linear robots made by Hilectro provide efficient solutions for reliable part removal from injection molding machines with clamping forces ranging from 600 to 40,000 kN and loads up to 80 kg. They are manufactured within the Haitian Group.

Solution for Technology and Performance Enhancement: About the Successful Cooperation between Haitian and Dongfeng Nissan.

Dongfeng Nissan is a joint venture between Japanese automaker Nissan and China’s Dongfeng Motor Corporation, a leading group in the construction of trucks, buses and passenger cars, as well as in the manufacture of engines and automotive components. With annual sales figures of more than 1 million vehicles, Dongfeng Nissan is a major player in the automotive industry in the People’s Republic of China.

Since Haitian began intensive cooperation with this manufacturer in 2009, ten automatic production cells with injection molding machines of 33,000 kN clamping force each have already been installed at the Guangzhou, Xiangyang, Zhenzhou and Wuhan plants. The latest plant in Wuhan-Yunfeng plays a prominent role and poses great challenges to its business partners due to the highest standards and strictest specifications at Dongfeng Nissan.

Turnkey solution for the highest demands

To ensure smooth operations from the very be- ginning, Haitian established a special team specifically for the Yunfeng project, consisting of senior executives from the application, engineering, manufacturing, customer service, marketing and other departments. In joint efforts, they overcame all challenges and accomplished their task even in the most severe pandemic phase. Despite many difficulties, the project goal was achieved on time.

This unwavering commitment with the goal of successful delivery was highly recognized by Dongfeng Nissan. During the final summary and appreciation conference of the Wuhan-Yunfeng project in August 2022, Haitian was awarded the “Excellent Project Manager” and “Excellent Supplier” awards.
