At CHINAPLAS 2026, Haitian International officially unveils the MA5/Ultra to the global market. Rather than a cosmetic upgrade, the new flagship extends the proven MA5 platform in the areas most relevant for modern injection molding: higher speed, improved precision, reduced energy consumption, and enhanced digital process support.

The MA5/Ultra is designed to deliver improved control, higher repeatability, reduced energy consumption, and enhanced digital process support in daily production. In doing so, Haitian strengthens the upper segment of its servo-hydraulic portfolio with a solution tailored to demanding multi-cavity, precision, and engineered-part applications.

Faster Response for Higher Productivity

The MA5/Ultra pushes conventional efficiency limits with a significant increase in injection performance. Models up to 250 tonnes achieve injection speeds of up to 150 mm/s, while dry cycle times are reduced by 10%.

This not only shortens individual production cycles but also improves overall responsiveness and process continuity—particularly in advanced manufacturing environments where time efficiency is critical.

Improved Process Precision

The MA5/Ultra is equipped with Haitian’s self-developed high-performance dual proportional valve system, combined with a new-generation motion control system.

This configuration enables higher valve control accuracy, shorter motion control cycles, and faster input/output response times. Demonstration data from the exhibited machine shows mold opening repeatability maintained at 0.2 mm, while injection positioning repeatability reaches 0.1 mm.

By minimizing process variation and ensuring consistent part quality, the MA5/Ultra meets the demanding precision requirements of high-end applications such as medical, optical, and electronics manufacturing.

Reduced Energy Consumption in Production

The MA5/Ultra builds on Haitian’s established servo energy-saving technology and integrates additional efficiency measures, including energy-saving heater bands, electrical pre-plasticizing, and an optimized hydraulic oil circuit design.

This combined energy-saving architecture reduces energy consumption by 30–40% compared to standard hydraulic machines. The result is lower energy usage per part and improved overall manufacturing economics.

Broader Process Adaptability for More Applications

Built on a high-performance platform, the MA5/Ultra offers broad adaptability across diverse molding requirements.

In addition to high injection speed and pressure, precise injection control, and accurate mold positioning, smaller-tonnage models are equipped as standard with high-strength hardened screws. This ensures reliable plasticizing performance and consistent material processing, enabling stable production across a wide range of precision and complex applications.

As announced at K 2025, Haitian International has officially launched the proven Go Factory Cloud software in Europe. The digital platform was developed specifically for injection molding companies aiming to increase transparency and improve operational efficiency and comes as a standard option with most European machine models.

Go Factory Cloud combines Haitian’s machine technology and digitalization into one consistent system solution. Designed as a true plug-and-play solution, Go Factory is delivered fully integrated with Haitian and Zhafir machines and does not require large investments or complex IT infrastructure. Already delivered machines can easily be retrofitted. For European small- and medium-sized processors, in particular, this ensures an easy transition to digital production with measurable efficiency enhancement.

Go Factory Cloud networks machines through a centralized cloud environment, continuously monitoring key production indicators such as cycle times, output volumes, machine status, and critical process parameters. A dashboard consolidates this information into an intuitive production overview, enabling consistent monitoring across machines and shifts.  Intelligent abnormal alerts identify parameter deviations early and automatically notify operators, supporting proactive process control and ensuring stable, reproducible production.

Integrated, cloud-based data storage secures validated process settings and enables quick, organized access when transferring molds or managing repeat jobs. Automated reporting functions generate transparent production summaries and performance analyses at any time, providing a reliable data foundation for operational and strategic decisions.

The cloud infrastructure is hosted exclusively on European servers and fully complies with all applicable EU data protection regulations, giving clients full and exclusive ownership of their data.

From toolmaking to series production, Giebeler is known for its comprehensive, customer-oriented approach to plastics processing. Haitian is a partner that shares this philosophy, offering uncompromising service and machine concepts designed for competitive part costs.

Giebeler has an eventful company history. Initially active in slate mining when it was founded in 1956, the family-owned company now operates in three business areas: precision toolmaking, tool service and series production in injection molding. Having these three areas under one roof offers customers significant advantages. Tools are designed and sampled under real production conditions before being transferred directly to production. The same team that designs the tools also oversees the optimization and validation processes, resulting in short feedback loops and reliable results.

For decades, the automotive industry provided the company with a stable foundation. However, the sector’s increasing fragility and unpredictability made a realignment necessary. Today, the automotive sector still accounts for around 50 percent of sales, but this percentage is deliberately declining. In recent years, Giebeler has repositioned itself through targeted diversification, in-house developments, and collaboration with partners in China, some of whom are former employees. The company has a strong family culture with flat hierarchies and personal responsibility. This flexible, independent, and globally minded attitude reflects a remarkable affinity with Haitian.

Giebeler’s production relies on a diverse machine park of 33 injection molding machines with clamping forces ranging from 350 to 16.000 kN. Energy efficiency, process reliability, system flexibility, and operating costs are increasingly important factors in investment decisions. However, the origin of the trusting partnership was another aspect: the service culture of both companies. “We rarely experience service technicians who stay until the problem is truly resolved without hidden additional costs. Haitian and its sales- and service partner ATR have done exactly that.”

Whether connecting to a new MES system or stabilizing a challenging material, the Haitian team quickly arrived on site, stayed until the process was stable, and did not leave production until it was secure. Giebeler himself offers a mobile tool service that provides on-site support to customers. The team is almost like an emergency service, immediately ready to respond when a tool needs maintenance, repair, or quick intervention.

This helps keep production lines stable, even in critical situations. This customer-oriented approach formed the natural bridge to Haitian International. So it’s no coincidence that the Haitian service DNA, embodied by around 40 technicians in Germany and over 200 throughout Europe, resonated.

At Haitian, too, global economies of scale and stable supply chains ensure cost efficiency, while European application expertise and local service guarantee customer proximity. Both companies are thus focusing on a balance between global strength and local proximity – for short delivery times, reliable quality, and an optimal cost-benefit ratio.
At Giebeler, production data has long been the basis for decisions – from run-at-rate validations to OEE dashboards. Together with Haitian, the machines were the first in the entire machine park to be integrated via EUROMAP interfaces. Giebeler is thus replacing old host interfaces with modern, standardized communication and creating real-time transparency in production. For employees, this means fewer manual checks, faster root cause analysis, and clearer handover between toolmaking and injection molding. For customers, it means documented process stability and traceability—efficiently implemented.

The outlook is clear: the market will continue to change significantly over the next five years. Price pressure is increasing, while quality, service, and energy consumption are becoming decisive criteria in purchasing decisions. With its hybrid business model (local + China), combination of technical depth and service expertise, and optimized cost structure, Giebeler considers itself well positioned.

No Downstream Processing:
One-step to the visible part

At K 2025, Haitian International will present a smart, sustainable solution for the automotive industry: the production of visible parts directly from the mold using polypropylene and a pre-decorated film insert. This eliminates the need for painting or other downstream processes. The exhibit features a fifth-generation Jupiter machine combined with a fully integrated automation cell from Haitian Smart Solutions.

The application is a wheel arch for the automotive sector. The special feature is that a preformed decorative film is inserted directly into the mold and bonded with the PP during the injection molding process. There is no need for a transfer station, painting or trimming – the part leaves the mold fully decorated and ready to install.

This streamlined process reduces complexity, material waste and cycle times. At the same time, it enables the use of cost-effective recycled materials while meeting high demands for surface quality. The Jupiter servo-hydraulic two-platen machine provides the necessary precision and stability for such applications, offering a compact footprint and full automation potential.

At K 2025 a Jupiter Series with clamping force of 6,500 kN produces a 450 g part in a single-cavity mold in 60 seconds. Film handling and part removal are fully automated using Haitian Smart Solutions components. The system is also equipped with Haitian’s Go Factory MES for real-time production monitoring and control, as well as the HT·Inject smart feature, which optimizes the injection process in real time and ensures consistent part weights — a critical advantage when processing recycled materials.

This live showcase is the result of close collaboration between Haitian, Oerlikon HRSflow, Inevo, DNP, ExxonMobil, Meusburger and Sesotec. Together, these partners demonstrate how premium quality and economical manufacturing can go hand in hand without compromising process reliability.

Zhafir Zeres medical:
COC live application at K 2025

At K 2025, Zhafir will present the Zeres “medical” – based on our best-selling electric machine series “Zhafir Zeres” and equipped with a dedicated package for medical applications. The GMP-compliant version comes with GoFactory as a standard feature. The integrated interface enables process monitoring and traceability at no additional cost.

The live application on a ZE1500V-300h medical with a 32 mm screw demonstrates the production of a syringe barrel made from COC (Cyclic Olefin Copolymer) using an 8-cavity mold. With a shot weight of 24 grams, the glass-like COC requires precise temperature control and stable injection for high dimensional accuracy. The Zeres medical meets these demands with an injection pressure of up to 2,530 bar and a maximum injection speed of 300 mm/s – ensuring consistent process conditions and repeatable quality.

The Zhafir Medical Package

The machine design is tailored for cleanroom use, featuring stainless steel cladding in the mold area, smooth and easy-to-clean surfaces, an elevated base frame, and the use of NSF-H1 certified lubricants. The control system offers user management, electronic signature, and audit trail functionality. GMP-related documentation requirements are supported by default.

Peripherial and Cleanroom Equipment

All peripheral equipment is supplied by Haitian Smart Solutions, including the dryer, material handling system, and temperature control unit with a setpoint of 110 °C. The cleanroom equipment is provided by partner company Petek and includes a fan filter unit, laminar flow box, and a fully enclosed conveyor system for controlled part handling.

The Zeres medical Series combines electric drive technology with stable process architecture and integrated data capabilities. It is designed for the reliable and cost-efficient series production of high-precision plastic components under regulated medical manufacturing conditions.

At K 2025 in Düsseldorf, Haitian International will present two new machine generations for the packaging industry: the electric Zhafir Zeres F and the servo-hydraulic Haitian MAV/F PRO – both live in Europe for the first time.

Servo-hydraulic. Dynamic. Economical.

The new Haitian MAV/F PRO Series is based on the successful Haitian platform and has been further developed specifically for economical high-performance applications in the packaging sector. With an injection speed of 800 mm/s, FEM-optimized plates, and a servo-driven plasticizing unit, it offers a robust and durable solution for fast cycle times and high quantities. RFID-based access, intelligent diagnostics, and energy and lubricant management are integrated as standard. In combination with infrared heating, energy savings of up to 30% can be achieved.

At K 2025, the production of a 2-liter round container (PP) in a 2-cavity mold with a cycle time of 5.0 seconds will be demonstrated. Here, too, a comprehensively integrated automation concept with Sepro linear robots and auxiliaries from Haitian Smart Solutions is being used.

Technical highlights include injection speeds of up to 500 mm/s, motion sequences of up to 1,300 mm/s, and AI-supported tool monitoring that detects deviations of 0.01 mm in less than 0.05 seconds. A new cylinder heating technology reduces energy consumption by up to 30%. The ZE-F Series achieves an efficiency of up to 95%.

Live at the trade fair, the ZE-F Series will showcase a 500 ml food container with a 4 cavity mold including a fully integrated IML cell, was developed entirely in-house – made by Haitian Smart Solutions.

At this year’s K Show, Haitian International will be showcasing exciting product permiers and smart solutions for current and future industry requirements. Haitians Zhafir brand will be presenting the all-new, electric fifth-generation Zeres F for packaging applications and the latest generation of Zeres with medical pack.

Haitan Plastics Machinery, Haitians brand for servo-hydraulic injection molding machines, the focus will be on the new high-speed MAV/F Pro Series and a two-platen Jupiter Series. Both the Zhafir Zeres Medical and the Haitian Jupiter are integrated in Haitians MES “GoFactory,” which is now available and included in the standard package of each machine.

The electric injection molding machines from Niigata Machinery are now expanding the portfolio with vertical application solutions.

At KUTENO 2025, May 13-15 in Bad Salzuflen, Germany, Haitian will present the latest company developments, an updated product portfolio and a live application at booth 20-G37. At this year’s Kuteno, the Zhaifr Zeres Series will once again be in the spotlight, demonstrating a practical approach to process optimization and sustainable, efficient production.

The Zeres Series, with its fifth gqeneration launched in Europe last year, is now well established and recognized in the market. Its electric concept with integrated hydraulics makes it suitable for a wide range of production requirements. Combined with the intelligent HT·XTEND functions – standard on the Haitian and Zhafir machines – the electric toggle machine embodies ease of use, integrated process optimization functions and production flexibility.

One special HT·XTEND feature on display is HT·OptiForce, which accurately calculates the minimum clamping force required by monitoring tie bar expansion during injection. At the touch of a button, operators benefit from:

• Mold preservation: Targeted clamping force reduction extends mold life and reduces maintenance.
• Scrap reduction: Optimized mold breathing minimizes surface defects, even in highly glazed cavities.
• Energy efficiency: Lower clamping forces reduce energy consumption, supporting cost-effective production.

At KUTENO a Zeres ZE600V-80 B22 will demonstrate the production of a polycarbonate (PC) optical lens using a mold from IWPM Ofr. GmbH & Co. KG with a cycle time of 34.5 seconds and a shot weight of 13.85 grams. In addition, a dryer and temperature control unit (TCU) from Haitian Smart Solutions, a sister company of Haitian International, provide stable processing conditions.

On top of the live demonstration, visitors can explore the latest developments in the Haitian machine portfolio, not only in terms of new injection molding machines but also regarding integrated automation solutions.
